SALT Ministries, Siem Reap, Cambodia (FAA Mission Trip)

Located on a 42-acre property in Siem Reap, Cambodia, SALT Ministries assists the Cambodia Adventist Mission in sharing Christ’s love by training local Seventh-day Adventists for ministry. This is accomplished by providing medical missionary courses, evangelism training, and primary and secondary education. The team also operates a media ministry focused on providing multimedia resources to assist church members as they share the gospel in the Khmer language. In addition, the staff provides full-time care to more than 120 children and young people in their orphanage.

Beginning in 2015, SALT and the Lay Institute for Global Health Training (LIGHT) entered into a partnership to provide international medical evangelism training. The goal is to prepare people for foreign mission service and equip the participants to effectively minister to the needs of others.

The ministry has enjoyed God’s blessing since its establishment in January 1996 and continues to depend on Him for sustenance. The team trusts the Lord will never fail to provide for them as they go about His business.

The school is operated and funded by SALT Ministries. The school charges a nominal fee between USD 5 to 20 per student per year, but many families are too poor to pay this. The staff at the school are all volunteers receiving USD 45 for singles and USD 65 for families per month.
