Hi Family & Friends!
Thanks for your prayers for our group. Weather and all has been rough...rougher on some of us. Juliana & I got really sick. It started on Friday & still fighting it. We've had temps of up to 103 off & on since then. Juliana had a temp of 102 & mine was down to 100.7 a couple hours ago.
Juliana got a lot of lovely bath tortures! Trish, Merlyn, Nancie & Art (nurses) have been fabulous! They gave Juliana an IV of fluids yesterday. Poor Juliana! Hopefully we'll get better from here. We both started an antibiotic this morning. It seemed to help me quite a bit.
Parents, don't worry about your kiddos. Juliana & I got the worst of it. Everyone else seems much better! Our group is heading to a motel after supper, in a couple hours to stay the nights for the rest of the trip. There's a pool....so kids are excited about getting to cool off.
We'll all be returning each day to the orphanage here in Cambodia.
Thanks for prayers! We need it. I think the devil didn't want me to do this VBS. ...I have a fabulous back-up team of students & parents helping me!! PTL!
The kiddos at the orphanage are adorable & our students are bonding with them so much! ;) Talk to you soon!
